Lee Hyo-ri recalled the days when she took acting classes in the past.
In the original TVing “Seoul Check-in,” which was released on Jun 10th, Lee Hyori was shown spending her daily life in Seoul.
On the show, Lee Hyo-ri left her home to meet Koo Kyo-hwan and Lee Ok-seop’s couple. Lee Hyo-ri, who was talking to her manager, said, “I’m very shy, too. You will never know how much pressure I feel inside,” she said, adding, “If you can’t tell, I’m good at acting. Should I try acting again?“
“I always act with Sang-soon at home, but he said I shouldn’t act. He said I was awkward and everything showed on my expression. He said my mouth was already smiling,” drawing laughter.
She also recalled memories of taking acting lessons in the past, saying, “I learned acting from Lee Jung-eun in the past, but I was scolded a lot for keeping laughing at that time.”
Actress Lee Jung-eun is a leading actor in Korea who debuted with the work “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in 1991. She has appeared in a number of hit films such as the movie “Parasite,” “The Day I Died,” the drama “Mr. Sunshine,” “Hell is Other People,” and “When the Camellia Blooms.” She was recognized for her acting skills by winning the “Best Actress Award” at KBS Drama Awards and the Prime Minister’s Commendation at the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards.
Recently, she plays the main character Jung Eun-hee in the drama “Our Blues.”
Lee Hyo-ri said, “What’s funny is that my acting is fake. It’s so funny that I pretend to have a stomachache when I don’t have a stomachache at all.“
After, Lee Hyo-ri, who met with Koo Kyo-hwan and Lee Ok-seop couple, expressed her honest thoughts about acting. “I feel so bored when I act. First of all, it was too much pressure for me and I don’t think it would affect the viewers’ experience as well. I’m not funny either, no one would say it’s interesting to watch me,” she said bitterly.
