Park Seo Joon revealed the reason why he decided to enlist earlier than most actor
During an interview in 2017, Park Seo Joon discussed his film “Midnight Runners”, as well as his military service.
According to the actor, he already served in the military as an active duty soldier at the age of 21. At the time, Park Seo Joon decided to enlist early as he was anxious about his future, but this decision turned out to be a big help to his acting career.
In addition, Park Seo Joon also shared that officials really liked him, since he can be an actor without taking a 2 year hiatus in his career.
While filming for “Midnight Runners”, Park Seo Joon often recalled his military days, especially during the scenes of him entering the police academy and getting lunch there, the actor revealed.
At the time, Park Seo Joon also encouraged his co-star Kang Ha Neul, who was set to enlist in the police department. “Don’t you think he’ll do a great job in the military? I feel like he is going to fill his limit after finishing his service in the army anyway”, the actor said.
