The YG idol facing worse mistreatment than Rosé: Fans sent a truck to pressure YG after 7 years without a solo album
Fans of this male idol have learned from BLACKPINK fans, rented a truck to show up in front of YG, with the message of demanding justice for their idol.
Recently, fans renting a truck to park in front of YG Ent to pressure the company are often seen. But this time, the owners of the truck are not BLACKPINK fans, but the Chinese fans of Kang Seung Yoon – WINNER leader.
The truck hired for the leader of WINNER has the LED sign with the slogan: “Demand for the planning of Kang Seungyoon’s promised solo album ever since 2013“. Kang Seung Yoon’s Chinese fans have raised money for this project with the purpose of asking YG to speak out about his solo plans.
Kang Seung Yoon joined YG in 2011 after impressing Yang Hyun Suk at Superstar K2. In June 2013, the former YG President announced that Seungyoon would debut as a solo artist with the single “Wild and Young”. But later he appeared in the survival show “WIN: Who Is Next”, debuted in WINNER and never made a solo comeback.
Fans still remember an article released on June 20, 2013 revealing that Kang Seung Yoon’s first mini album would have 6 songs. YG also promised to let him release a mini album, but after 7 years, his solo album is still nowhere to be seen. The only thing that fans got was the single that Kang Seung Yoon composed when participating in the show “WIN: Who Is Next”.
YG once announced that if Team A won the show, Kang Seung Yoon would release a solo album and promote in parallel with the group. On the contrary, if Team B won, he would only promote solo. In fact, although the male idol won with Team A, the solo album that he was promised never saw the light up till now.

However, in the latest announcement, Rosé’s solo plan has been delayed to October this year, after BLACKPINK’s full album is released. However, Kang Seung Yoon and his fans have waited for 7 years and his solo album is still non-existent.
This is not the first time YG has received demands from fans. BLACKPINK fans have 5 times sent a truck to YG, requesting the company to treat their idols better. Recently, Rosé’s international fans also protested before the group’s comeback with the demand to let BLACKPINK’s main vocal … sing OST and get what she deserves.
