Audiences highly appreciate the singer-turned-actor’s performance

“The worst of evil” is a new action blockbuster from Disney+ Korea, telling the story of police officer Park Joon Mo, portrayed by Ji Chang Wook, who takes extreme risks to advance in his career. He assumes a false identity to infiltrate the nation’s most dangerous drug cartel, led by Gi Cheol (Wi Ha Jun). By chance, Gi Cheol has a past connection with Joon Mo’s wife, Yoo Eui Jung (Lim Se Mi). Eui Jung is also a police officer, currently pretending to be divorced to get close to Gil Cheol. This situation forces Eui Jung to repeatedly face her husband in awkward circumstances, as they cannot admit their true relationship.

BIBI

In the latest episodes, in addition to the three characters mentioned above, “The Worst of Evil” introduces a new character, Lee Hae Ryeon (BIBI). She is introduced as a mysterious distributor in a clandestine drug production facility, who has just arrived in South Korea to carry out a transaction with Gi Cheol. In her first appearance, Hae Ryeon wears a bright-colored wig and bold red lipstick, which leaves Gi Cheol somewhat perplexed about her presence and identity. Soon after, she removes the wig, wipes off her makeup, and surprises the audience with her striking appearance and icy demeanor.

BIBI’s on-screen presence has been described as “powerful and compelling,” perfectly suiting the dark atmosphere of “The Worst of Evil.” Despite her limited screen time, her performance is nuanced and stands out in the latest developments, piquing the audience’s interest in what is about to unfold. Viewers also can’t predict whether BIBI’s character aligns with the protagonist or antagonist side.
