The Truth About Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young’s Sudden Dating Rumor

On Sep 1st, the internet was abuzz with a rumor about “True Beauty” stars Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young, possibly taking their on-screen romance into reality.

The speculation began when Dispatch, a renowned Korean entertainment news outlet, seemingly confirmed their relationship. However, the truth behind this rumor is more complex than it first appeared.

Cha Eun Woo - Moon Ga Young

On September 1, netizens shared two videos about Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young. In both videos, Dispatch and Koreaboo, a well-known K-pop news source, reported that Cha Eun Woo had confirmed his relationship with Moon Ga Young. These videos not only included this revelation but also showcased sweet behind-the-scenes moments of the two actors, fueling fans’ hopes of a real romance.

The videos garnered immense attention, with one video amassing nearly 2 million views within a short span.

However, it turned out that the screenshots used in the video were poorly photoshopped. The Koreaboo account in the video lacked capitalization and lacked the blue verification checkmark, clearly different from the legitimate Koreaboo account. Additionally, Dispatch did not published any articles confirming Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young’s relationship. To add to the intrigue, the video bearing Dispatch’s logo was actually shared on April 1 of the same year, with the uploader claiming it was a prank for April Fools’ Day.

In light of these revelations, it can be concluded that Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young are not actually dating. While the internet was quick to ship the on-screen couple into reality, the evidence supporting their romance turned out to be nothing more than a cleverly crafted illusion.

Moon Ga Young, born in 1996, is a talented actress who made her mark in the entertainment industry at an early age. Her journey began at the age of 10 when she starred in “To Sir, with Love.” Over the years, she has continued to impress audiences with her performances in various dramas, including “True Beauty,” “Welcome to Waikiki 2,” “Find Me In Your Memory,” and “The Great Seducer.”
