The movie “The Roundup 4” (director Heo Myeong Haeng) confirmed the casting of actors Ma Dong Seok, Kim Moo Yul, Lee Dong Hwi, Park Ji Hwan, Lee Bum Soo, Kim Min Jae, Lee Ji Hoon, Lee Joo-bin and began filming.
“The Roundup 4” is Korea’s representative action series depicting the upgraded crime mop-up operation of monster detective Ma Seok Do, who formed a task force with the cyber police to catch the nation’s largest illegal online gambling organization.
Ma Dong Seok will return as monster detective Ma Seok Do. Following the third part, Ma Seok Do, who is active in the investigation team, will show upgraded investigative skills by collaborating with the cyber police to mop up the illegal online gambling organization.
Kim Moo Yul will be in charge of the fourth-generation villain. Kim Moo Yul plays Baek Chang Gi, leader of the online gambling organization. Lee Dong Hwi was cast as Jang Dong Cheol, an IT genius and a young CEO of the coin industry. Park Ji Hwan, who plays Jang Yi Soo, the official scene stealer of the “The Roundup” series, will also return. Jang Yi Soo is expected to add fun to the work by once again presenting fantastic chemistry with Ma Seok Do.
In addition, following “The Roundup: No Way Out”, the cast includes Lee Bum Soo, who plays Jang Tae Soo, the team leader of the investigation team, Kim Min Jae, who plays Kim Man Jae, Ma Seok Do’s reliable right-hand man, and Lee Ji Hoon, who plays Yang Jong Soo, a veteran detective of the investigation team. Lee Joo Bin, who became a trending actress thanks to JTBC’s drama “Be Melodramatic” and Netflix’s series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area”, appears as Han Ji Soo of the cyber investigation team.
“The Roundup 4” began filming today (Nov 18th). “The Roundup: No Way Out” finished filming on Nov 10th and will be released in 2023.
