“I am so sorry”…The reason why Kwon Eun-bi apologized to Lee Chae-yeon, her former member in IZ*ONE

Singer Kwon Eun-bi cheered for Lee Chae-yeon’s solo debut.

At 4 p.m. on the 12th (KST), Kwon Eun-bi‘s third mini-album “Lethality” showcase was held at Ilji Art Hall in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

On this day, Lee Chae-yeon, former member of IZ*ONE, debuted as a solo singer after releasing her first solo mini-album “HUSH RUSH”.

In response, Kwon Eun-bi said, “I hope Chae-yeon gets the spotlight because it’s her debut album, but I was sorry that I debuted on the same date. So when the release date of my album came up, I called Chaeyeon and said, ‘I didn’t want to, but that’s what happened’”.

Then Chae-yeon said, ‘There will be a good synergy because I’m debuting with my sister’”. To add, Eun-bi said, “I have a lot to learn from my sister (Chae-yeon) and I think I will gain strength because I am with her. I am so thankful”. Eun-bi also sent Chae-yeon a Kakao message saying, “I’m very nervous, but I hope I can show you all the stages. I’m happy to be with Chae-yeon”.

Another pair of IZ*ONE members, Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chae-won are also active in the same group, LE SSERAFIM. When this story came out, Kwon Eun-bi said, “I’m proud whenever I see IZ*ONE’s younger members working hard and performing various stages. There are many friends who have overlapping activities this time, so wouldn’t it be supportive for each other while meeting and talking in the waiting room?”. She also expressed her affection for IZ*ONE by stating, “I’m so proud when I see my friends active and I’m happy as an older sister because I think I’ve grown a lot”.

Kwon Eun-bi’s third mini-album “Lethality” will be released on music sites at 6 p.m. on the same day (KST).
