The reason “The Glory” Ha Do Young continues raising Ye Sol, the daughter born out of Park Yeon Jin and Jeon Jae Joon’s affair

All the villains in Netflix’s “The Glory” faced tragedies in the end. In particular, Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), who led the bully gang and even committed murder in the past, was imprisoned and lived a miserable life.

Her husband Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il) also coldly demanded a divorce from Park Yeon Jin, who not only had an affair with Jeon Jae Joon (Park Sung Hoon) behind his back but also committed serious crimes.

However, Ha Do Young still took responsibility for Ha Ye Sol (Oh Ji Yul), who turned out to be the daughter of Park Yeon Jin and her affair partner Jeon Jae Joon in the end.

Ha Do Young arranged all his work and life in Korea then left for the U.K. together with Ye Sol because she loves football.

What could be the reason why Ha Do Young cherishes Ye Sol although she has none of his blood?

Ye Sol was very upset listening to all the gossip about her family from other parents at school. At that time, Ha Do Young appeared, calling his daughter “Ha Ye Sol. Ye Sol ah~ Princess, what are you doing?” and lovingly embracing her.

Ye Sol responded “Dad” then ran straight to hug Ha Do Young and apologized, “Dad, I’m sorry”.

Hearing that, Ha Do Young tried to reassure his daughter, “No, princess. You have nothing to be sorry about. Nothing that’s happening right now is Ye Sol’s fault. Do you understand?”.

As Ye Sol burst into tears, Ha Do Young felt complicated emotions and kept stroking her hair gently.

People who saw that scene expressed deep regrets, saying “He can’t just ignore the kid he has been raising with love”, “Ye Sol did nothing wrong”, etc.

Other netizens commented, “If a small and pretty child like her cries, I would also feel like I want to protect her for the rest of my life”, “How can you become strangers with the daughter you have raised with so much love in just a moment?”, etc.
