Taeyeon participated in the remix version of “I’m Not The Only One”, which is included in Sam Smith’s deluxe album “In The Lonely Hour 10th Anniversary Edition (Deluxe)”. The track was released on August 29th at 6 PM, garnering significant attention from global music fans.
This collaboration came about as Sam Smith, celebrating his 10th debut anniversary, wanted to show appreciation for the overwhelming love from his Korean fans. He first proposed the idea of a new version of the song featuring Korean lyrics to Taeyeon. Sam Smith expressed his gratitude, “I am so thankful to have such a versatile performer like Taeyeon participate in this project and deliver amazing vocals.“
Following previous collaborations with renowned artists like Japan’s Utada Hikaru, Spain’s Aitana and Brazil’s IZA, Taeyeon represented Korea in this project.
