Singer Ailee is making headlines as she claimed herself as the worst guest on “Amazing Saturday”.
On tvN’s entertainment program “Amazing Saturday”, which aired on the evening of October 8th, singer Ailee, who is about to hold a nationwide concert tour to mark her 10th debut anniversary this November, appeared as a guest together with Chuu and Red Velvet’s Seulgi.
During the broadcast, Boom asked, “I heard Ailee called herself the worst guest?”. In response, Ailee said, “The production team asked what style of music I was confident in and I said ‘pop songs’. Well, there’s no way a pop song would appear on the program”, drawing laughter.
The first round of the Song Dictation used Wendy’s OST “If I Could Read Your Mind” for drama “Yumi’s Cells” and Ailee’s first song dictation was revealed. In the Snack Game, Ailee also showed her active participation in every quiz and even proved her high-quality live singing skills when Park Jung-hyun’s “In A Dream” came out as a question, drawing explosive responses.
In addition, when her song “I Will Show You” came out in the Snack Game, Ailee came back to the center of the stage with Kim Dong-hyun, who got the right answer, and pleased the viewers’ ears with a concert-like performance.
Meanwhile, Ailee will greet fans and begin 2022 Ailee Nationwide Concert Tour “One More Step” with a two-day show on the 5th and 6th of November. She plans to tour around many cities, including Anyang, Changwon, Daegu, Busan, and Seoul, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut. In addition, Ailee’s online XR concert “Colors”, which will be produced under the investment of the Korea Creative Content Agency, will be held on November 12th to showcase fantastic performances.
