“The Price of Confession” Confirms Cast With Jeon Do-yeon & Kim Go-eun After Song Hye-kyo & Han So-hee’s Withdrawals

Earlier, “The Price of Confession” made headlines when they revealed the casting of Song Hye-kyo and Han So-hee. However, the production team suddenly rearranged the project and cast new actors. 

Netflix’s series “The Price of Confession” is a mystery thriller depicting events that happen between two women with many secrets, Yoon-soo, who is accused of killing her husband, and Mo-eun, a mysterious woman who is called a witch.

“The Price of Confession” aroused keen attention as it is the new film by ‘hitmaker’ Lee Jung-hyo, who has gained recognition for his directing skills in “Doona!”, “Crash Landing on You”, “Good Wife”, “Romance Is A Bonus Book”, “Life On Mars”, etc. In addition, the participation of writer Kwon Jong-kwan also added to expectations.

Above all, the combination of trustworthy actors is expected to maximize the mystery thriller genre. In particular, public attention is focused on the acting chemistry of Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun. Jeon Do-yeon will appear as Ahn Yoon-soo, who struggles to clear her name from the false accusation of murdering her husband. The daily life of Yoon-soo, who dreamed of small happiness with her family, has been completely ruined by the mysterious death of her husband. Park Hae-soo and Jin Seon-kyu join the cast as people who pursue the truth behind the secrets of the two women, Park Hae-soo takes on the role of Baek Dong-hoon, a prosecutor who always maintains a calm face in any incident and has a firm belief. This character is acknowledged by colleagues for his diligence and success rate, but he risks his beliefs and honor to uncover the secrets of Yoon-soo and Mo-eun. Actor Park Hae-soo, known for his performance in “Squid Game” and “Narco-Saints” will make a new transformation.

“Extreme Job”, “Revenant” and “Bargain” actor Jin Sun-kyu will turn into Jang Jung-gu, Yoon-soo’s lawyer. As a former boxer, this character never takes a case lightly. After knowing that Yoon-soo is accused of murdering her husband, he begins to investigate to find out the truth and prove Yoon-soo’s innocence. 

Meanwhile, “The Price of Confession” will premiere worldwide exclusively on Netflix.
