The Potential Vietnamese Member of SM’s Upcoming Girl Group Set to Go Head-to-Head with BABYMONSTER

A Vietnamese trainee has been rumored to debut in SM Entertainment’s upcoming girl group

The buzz started when a photo, believed to be the lineup of the new SM girl group, surfaced online. This picture was captured during a rehearsal for SM’s trainees, and it’s been causing a stir.

While the official lineup of SM’s new girl group hasn’t been confirmed yet, fans are already guessing who the Vietnamese member could be. According to online sources, the likely candidate is Nguyen Huong Lan, born in 2004. A photo shared on the internet shows Lan and other trainees attending a Super Junior concert. 

In the midst of this excitement, the debut of YG Entertainment’s new girl group, BABYMONSTER has been confirmed for this November. This marks YG’s first girl group debut in seven years, following BLACKPINK. Therefore, if SM also unveils their new girl group in 2023, K-pop fans might witness an exciting showdown between these two highly anticipated rookie girl groups.
