The new on-screen lover of “Business Proposal” actress Kim Se-jeong turns out to be the male star from “High Kick”
“Business Proposal” Kim Se-jeong will form a couple with this actor in her new drama project.
On April 8th, Korean media reported that Choi Daniel would join Kim Se-jeong, who has recently become so famous after appearing in “Business Proposal”, in the new drama “Today’s Webtoon”. This will be the comeback drama of Kim Se-jeong after the success of “Business Proposal” and also Choi Daniel’s return on the small screen for the first time in 4 years since “The Ghost Detective”.
“Today’s Webtoon” is a remake of the famous Japanese drama “Sleepeeer Hit!”. Kim Se-jeong will take on the role of On Ma-eum, a former judo athlete who enters the webtoon editorial department as a new employee. She has to face the competitive Korean webtoon industry to become a true editor.
Choi Daniel of “High Kick” will play Seok Ji-hyung, a deputy editor who is unpredictable and a trustworthy mentor for On Ma-eum. The actor’s agency responded, “Choi Daniel has received the casting offer for the new drama of SBS – ‘Today’s Webtoon’ and he is reviewing the offer with a favorable attitude”.
