BLACKPINK Jisoo is in preparation for her long-awaited solo debut, with MV receiving the highest production cost.

On February 21st, YG Entertainment announced, “The music video for Jisoo’s solo song is being filmed wholly in locations overseas in strict secrecy. You can look forward to it, seeing that we invested the largest production cost ever among BLACKPINK videos.”

Jisoo has been working hard to keep her promise to fans, and thanks to that, the whole process went smoothly and quickly. It is rumored that despite the busy schedule of BLACKPINK’s world tour, the female idol poured out extraordinary dedication, even re-recording herself for the perfection of the album. 

YG has planned the music video to be filmed all over the world to maximize the charm of the song and the appeal of Jisoo, who will be reborn as a solo artist.

Since their debut, BLACKPINK has been breaking various records every time a member releases a solo album as well as whenever they have activities as a full group. As a result expectations are higher than ever for Jisoo, the last BLACKPINK member to make her solo debut. 

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, to which Jisoo belongs, is currently conducting the largest world tour for a Kpop girl group, attracting about 1.5 million people.
