According to YouTube statistics, the most searched female idol song of 2021 was “NEXT LEVEL”. It was followed by OH MY GIRL‘s “Dun Dun Dance”, IU‘s “Lilac”, Brave Girls‘ “Rollin'” and aespa‘s “Black Mamba”.

In the male idol category, No.1~No.5 respectively belonged to BTS‘ “Butter”, BTS‘ “Permission to Dance”, SHINee‘s “Don’t Call Me”, NCT 127‘s “Sticker” and BTS‘ “My Universe”.

Meanwhile, aespa won Stage of the Year (Daesang), Rookie of the Year – Music and Hot Trend Award at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards held on December 2nd last year.
