“The most important thing…” Cha Tae Hyun mentioned the advantage of the movie “My Heart Puppy”, everyone burst into laughter

Actor Cha Tae Hyun expressed strong confidence in the movie “My Heart Puppy”.

“My Heart Puppy” revolves around two men who are going to be separated from their family-like pet dog, and their journey to find a new owner. It is a new work by director Jason Kim, who showed a pleasant youth combination play with “Midnight Runners”.

In the work, Yoo Yeon Seok plays Min Soo, a butler who loves his younger brother-like dog Rooney so much. Cha Tae Hyun plays Jin Guk, a cousin who Min Soo trusts and follows.

On this day, Cha Tae Hyun said, “It makes me emotional to be able to attend this press conference. There’s a feeling that I’ve never felt before. In the past, filming and releasing a film was a daily routine, but now it seems to be touching to release a film in theaters. I feel like I’m back to the beginning. Thank you for your interest.”

The movie depicts the problem with the abandoned dog shelter system. Cha Tae Hyun said he filmed at an abandoned dog shelter, adding, “It was hard to act that part because it couldn’t be just a comedy or go too far into a drama. Fortunately, while watching the movie, senior Kim Ji Young acted so well, and the director also kept the tone so well that I think laughter and messages came out together.”

Finally, Cha Tae Hyun said, “‘My Heart Puppy’ is definitely different in color from the movies that have come out these days. It is neither excitement-filled nor fast. Audiences these days may be used to stimulating and fast development, so this can be seen as a disadvantage because our movie is not like that. I think it’s a meaningful movie. Our big advantage is that it’s different from recent movies.” He then made everyone laugh by emphasizing, “And the most important thing is that (the movie) is very cute,” using a wordplay with “gae”, which means both “dog” and “very” in Korean.

The movie will be released in theaters nationwide on March 1st.
