AshGray’s new song “Run Away” will integrate the soulful lyrics Kevin Oh wrote about his wife, Gong Hyo Jin.
On October 11th (local time), singer Kevin Oh tied the knot with famous actress Gong Hyo Jin in New York, USA. Ahead of their wedding, the singer teased some lyrics he wrote about their relationship, which reads, “Tonight, I will never leave you alone. When you wait for us, we’ll run away together.”
According to art lab Wonder Wall on October 14th, the song is called “Run Away”, with lyrics written by Kevin Oh and will be released by the two-member pop rock duo AshGray.
Ash Gray is a two-member band consisting of Noh Min Hyuk and composer Shim Tae Hyun. Singer Kim Dae Han will participate in the new song as a guest vocalist.
Through the lyrics, Kevin Oh conveys a romantic message that small worries or problems are nothing, and that we run away together when we are tired.
Regarding the collaboration with Kevin Oh, AshGray said, “It may be because he was about to get married, so the lyrics that convey his feelings were well fleshed out and completed.”
