Fans don’t have to wait any longer because BTS is finally back with the MV for “Boy With Luv” featuring the American star Halsey on April 12th!
Right at 16:00 on April 12th (KST), BTS officially come back with the MV “Boy With Luv” which is the title for their album “Map Of The Soul: Persona”. This is the product of this 7-member group along with Halsey – a famous American artist with famous hits such as “Closer”, “Without You”,…This is also the first time BTS collaborate with a foreign artist for their title song.
“Boy with Luv” belongs to the Funk Pop genre with cheerful and catching melody. The song is about happiness in simple love, expressing the excitement and fluttering feelings when one is in love. However, the appearance of Halsey is not as much as expected. The American singer only contributed her voice in the second half of the MV with some lines and dance moves with BTS. This is in contrast to the teaser and the first half of the MV when she appeared right at the opening, making people believe that Halsey will play a big role in the song.
As for the visual, the MV “Boy with Luv” uses bright and radiant colors with pink tones, giving a retro vibe with American-style theaters and restaurants. BTS appeared in many scenes with musical stages, reminding everyone of classic Broadway musicals in the US. Halsey makes the fans excited by doing some stunning dance moves with BTS.
BTS will have their first comeback stage with “Boy with Luv” at “Saturday Night Live” – one of America’s most popular talk shows on April 13 (local time).
