Episode 2 of “The Idol” has revealed more interesting details about Jennie’s character. Jennie also gets to showcase her singing.
Episode 2 of “The Idol” premieres on June 12th, titled “Double Fantasy.” The show has picked up pace, introducing unpredictable plot twists, character motivations, and personalities gradually being unveiled. And, of course, it can’t be complete without steamy scenes.
Similar to Episode 1, BLACKPINK Jennie doesn’t have a much screen time and only appears in two scenes. However, this time, her presence leaves a more memorable mark, intriguing viewers and sparking discussions about the true role of her character, Dyanne.
In this episode, Dyanne catches the attention of record label director Nikki (Jane Adams) as a replacement for the female lead, Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp), after she fails to complete a music video shoot.
Known for her talent in dancing, Dyanne seizes the opportunity to showcase her singing skills and successfully convinces Nikki to let her complete a separate recording.
Jennie’s singing voice, coupled with the new developments surrounding Dyanne’s character, has delighted viewers. This indicates that Jennie will have a more significant role in the upcoming episodes.
In the subsequent scene, the show takes an unexpected turn, bringing viewers to the encounter between Dyanne and Tedros, two seemingly unrelated characters.

The first half of Episode 2 of “The Idol” effectively explores the emotions of Jocelyn. In the latter half of the episode, Jocelyn approaches Tedros.. Alongside Tedros’s group of friends, the two enjoy a wild party, with explicit scenes that leave nothing to the imagination. The final moments of Episode 2 feature heavily steamy scenes.
Aside from the explicit content, the acting of The Weeknd is also a concerning aspect of “The Idol”. Despite portraying the antagonist, he shows an unnatural performance and the character has many cheesy lines.
In Episode 2, viewers gain a more comprehensive view of “The Idol”. While there are still flaws and plot holes, the growing mystery keeps viewers genuinely intrigued and eager to follow along.
