“The Glory” real-life victim said perpetrators took down all SNS posts, street cleaner with 2.7 billion won assets revealed his sorrows
“Attack on Sisters” delivered the recent status of “The Glory” school bullying victims in real life and solved the concerns of clients.
On the February 28th broadcast of Channel S’s “Attack on Sisters”, trot singer Park Gun, a 3-year married couple, and a sanitation worker who owns 2.7 billion won in assets shared their concerns.
First, Park Gun mentioned his wife Han Young, saying “She told me to go to the National Assembly since I’m so well-loved by many people. I’m wondering if I should really run for the National Assembly election”. In response, Park Mi Sun said, “You have to read between the lines to see the true meaning in what your wife said. ‘I actually don’t want you to go to the National Assembly’, ‘Wake up! Take care of me instead’, etc. You shouldn’t take words as they are literally but rather ask why she said that.”
Park Gun, who always takes good care of his acquaintances, confessed, “If someone calls me and says that he/she is getting married but I can’t attend, I will still send congratulatory money and wreaths to the wedding. Of course, I’ll do it for people who are close to me, but for people I’m not close to, I will still film congratulatory videos. If someone asks me a favor, of course, I will do it.”
In the same episode, Park Gun also surprised everyone by revealing that he recently spent 2 million won on congratulatory money within just a month. In addition, the trot singer mentioned that he saves contacts with people’s names and places where they live. “For example, if I search ‘Ulsan’, I can find the name of everyone living in Ulsan, right? I want to visit business partners and come to places I haven’t gone to before to try the food there”, he said, adding “I have saved about 2000 contacts”.
Hearing this, Kim Ho Young agreed with Park Gun and said he has a similar habit when managing his personal connections.
The reason Park Gun tried to take care of all his personal connections is that he grew up as the only son and was lonely, so he became greedy to have friends. Upon hearing the story, the 3 MCs came up with a solution. In particular, Kim Ho Young said, “You can think this way. People don’t appreciate you as much as you think”, whilst Park Mi Sun advised, “You should save time and take better care of your wife”.
Next, a couple that has been married for 3 years also came to the show for advice. The husband said he wanted to have a stone blanket because the heavy feeling makes him feel safe. In the video released on the show, the husband was seen sleeping under the mattress. The wife could not sleep well due to the situation so she confessed her sorrow to the 3 MCs.
The husband said, “It’s my habit. I don’t think it’s a concern”. However, the wife explained, “My husband has broken 4-5 bed frames so far. We used a storage bed and I put a TV under it, but he ruined it. He kept sticking himself to the walls and the wallpaper got faded. It’s a rented house but we already paid 1.8 million won for the wallpaper.” She continued, “I’m fine with it because I’m an adult. We used to have a bumper bed in our room for our baby. My husband went under the baby’s bumper bed, and the baby was about to fall out as my husband pressed the bed against the wall. Luckily I found out about it but I couldn’t control it all the time”. The husband responded that he didn’t remember that story.
The MCs recommended that the couple go to a sleep clinic. After the broadcast, the couple visited a sleep clinic and got a prescription for proper sleep.
On this day’s broadcast, Park Seong Min, a victim of the hair straightener bullying depicted in “The Glory”, revealed her recent status. Park Seong Min said, “After my previous appearance on ‘Attack on Sisters’, there are many people who tell me to cheer up, so I’m receiving great comfort. Originally, I couldn’t sleep for more than 5 hours, but these days I sleep for 6 hours.”
Park Seong Min added, “The perpetrators took down all their SNS posts.” The MCs cheered for Park Seong Min’s future, “Your face looks brighter compared to the last time you appeared on the show. We’ll continue to support you in the future.”
Next, Koo Bum Joon, a street cleaner who owns 2.7-billion-won assets, appeared and confessed his concerns. He shared, “I revealed some of my assets. I said, ‘I have about 2.7 billion won in assets.’ I just wanted to show that even a high school graduate like me can succeed if I live hard.”
Koo Bum Joon continued, “I got a lot of complaints from the district office. There were also malicious comments telling me to give up my job to those in need. A street cleaner has to be poor, and such prejudice seems to be difficult.”
