Interview

“The Glory” actor Lee Do Hyun, “I watched Yeon Jin and Hye Jeong’s quarrel scene but didn’t know where to look”

On March 18th, Cosmopolitan Korea uploaded a new interview video titled “Lee Do Hyun appeared in front of us a day after binge-watching ‘The Glory 2’! Is this real? | The Glory | Lee Do Hyun | Zoomterview”.

In the video, Lee Do Hyun mentioned his character Go Chung Myung in the drama “Hotel del Luna” for the question about the most satisfying styling he has ever tried. The actor then explained, “It wore hanbok because it was a historical drama and I think it looked good on me. Hanbok has a unique charm. I even thought it would be great to have a few sets of modern hanboks to wear.”

When asked about his memorable lines when playing Joo Yeo Jeong, Lee Do Hyun said, “I think it might be ‘I’ll do it. I’ll be your executioner’. That line was the most difficult for me”. As for the possibility of “The Glory 3”, he smiled and said, “I hope there is Part 3. I won’t comment anything on this.”

Regarding a behind-the-scenes story about the filming of “The Glory” Part 2 that impressed him the most, Lee Do Hyun shared, “There were not many scenes where I met senior actors who played the five school violence perpetrators, but I watched Yeon Jin and Hye Jeong quarrel in my plastic surgery clinic”.

He continued, “Except for the script reading, it was my first time meeting the two actresses. They fought right in front of my eyes. That scene was quite scary and I didn’t know where to look at that time.”

Meanwhile, Lee Do Hyun’s next acting project “The Good Bad Mother” will premiere on JTBC on April 26th.
