The funniest K-drama mistake: The scene where an actor gets mistakenly hit in the head was not edited out

The hilarious mistake in Six Flying Dragons draws netizens’ attention again.

Korean dramas are known for being meticulous and careful in post-production to deliver the highest quality footage to the viewers. Of course, there are still regrettable mistakes from time to time, but the following case is so special that viewers don’t know how to react, whether to laugh or cry…

Six Flying Dragons

In “Six Flying Dragons” led by Yoo Ah In, there is a scene when farmers tie posts on a field. This is where an accident happened. An actor was hit in the head by a co-star’s hammer. Not sure if there was a problem with the props or if the co-star used too much force, but the other actor seemed to get hurt. Although these two actors stood in the middle of the frame, perhaps since the scene did not feature any of the main cast, this accident was overlooked by the drama’s post-production team.

When discovering this detail, the audience really didn’t know whether to cry or laugh.  Hopefully this is just a fake hammer and the actor was not too badly injured.

Six Flying Dragons

Six Flying Dragons is a South Korean TV series adapted from the novel of the same name.  The drama tells about the process of building the Joseon dynasty after it was established by Emperor Tae Jo and prime minister Jung Do Yeon. When Joseon was just established, many conflicts and riots between 6 rebels broke out simultaneously, with Lee Bang Won (Yoo Ah In) – the third son of King Tae Jo – as the central figure.
