The first trial for FIFTY FIFTY’s 13 billion won lawsuit will be held in August

The first trial date for the damages lawsuit of ATTRAKT and girl group FIFTY FIFTY has been set

On June 20th, a representative from FIFTY FIFTY’s agency ATTRAKT confirmed to Xports News “The trial date for the damages lawsuit has been scheduled“, stating that the first hearing will be held on August 29th.

In December 2023, ATTRAKT filed a lawsuit seeking 13 billion won in damages against former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Aran and Sio, as well as their parents and The Givers CEO Ahn Sung-il.

Before this, FIFTY FIFTY had gained popularity both domestically and internationally with their song “Cupid”, even ranking on overseas charts like the Billboard Hot 100.

However, conflict arose when FIFTY FIFTY members filed for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of their exclusive contracts with ATTRAKT. It was later revealed that The Givers had intervened in this matter, leading to a dispute between The Givers and ATTRAKT.

Keena is the only member who returned to ATTRAKT, and the agency plans to introduce a new five-member FIFTY FIFTY in September by recruiting four new members.
