The Fact Interviews aespa After Winning 2 Awards At 2023 TMA, “We Have Many Plans For Next Year”

Girl group aespa has had a successful year

aespa’s performance in 2023 was very impressive. Ranking No.1 in first-week sales with their mini album “MY WORLD”, aespa successfully completed their first world tour and even received two awards at The Fact Music Awards (TMA).

In particular, the girl group won Artist of the Year (Bonsang) and Worldwide Icon Award at the 2023 The Fact Music Awards held on October 10th. Shortly after receiving the award, aespa met with The Fact and expressed their feelings, saying “It was our first time attending The Fact Music Awards and we’re so grateful to get two awards like this”.

Karina shared, “I want to express my gratitude to our fans, staff and company officials”, adding “I also want to thank the members for working hard. We will work harder to receive an award at The Fact Music Awards next year”.

At the award ceremony that day, aespa captivated the audience with their performances of “Better Things” and Spicy”. When asked for their TMI, Giselle said, “We added an intro and a dance break for this stage. We learned and practiced it in the waiting room within a short period of time.”

Mentioning their world tour, NingNing said, “Each city has its own attractions and a different atmosphere”, adding “If I were to pick the most memorable moment, it would be the first concert. It was our first solo concert, and I think I’ll remember it forever”.

To introduce their comeback song “DRAMA”, aespa made a unique pose by using their hands to cover their faces and proudly said, “We’ll show you everything we have”. The group is very busy with their promotional schedule for the new song “DRAMA. 

Regarding their future activities, NingNing said, “We have many plans for next year and you can look forward to them”. Karina added, “We’re having a fanmeeting and it’s a good opportunity for us to meet Korean fans after a while”.
