The cast lineup of “The Glory”: Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun, and many more

Alongside star actress Song Hye Kyo, upcoming K-drama “The Glory” also introduces a lot of other familiar names

Fans of famous actress Song Hye Kyo must be more excited than ever, seeing that her K-drama “The Glory” is approaching its release date. On the other hand, in addition to Song Hye Kyo, there are a lot of talented actors and actresses starring in the same series.

Below are some major cast members that will appear in “The Glory”:

Song Hye Kyo as Moon Dong Eun

Moon Dong Eun, the female lead of “The Glory”, is played by none other than Song Hye Kyo.  Dreaming to become an architect, yet Moon Dong Eun had to give up on her dream due to severe school bullying, and a plan for revenge was brimming inside her. 

After years of laying out her plans, Moon Dong Eun finds herself as the teacher of her bully’s child. She then lays out a trap to pay back all her perpetrators. 

Lee Do Hyun as Joo Yeo Jung

On the other hand, Lee Do Hyun assumed the role of male lead Ju Yeo Jung. He was born to a rich family, and so was pampered and raised in the best environment. He will reportedly develop a close relationship with Song Hye Kyo’s character and assist her in her vengeance . 

If Song Hye Kyo has got decades of acting experience, then Lee Do Hyun is a rising star who officially started acting in 2016. He gained attention after appearing in “Hotel Del Luna”, and exploded with fame after playing the male lead of hit K-drama “18 Again”. 

Over his career, Lee Do Hyun constantly proves his acting prowess through projects such as “Sweet Home”, “Melancholia”, and “Youth of May”. 

Lim Ji Yeon as Park Yeon Jin

In “The Glory”, Lim Ji Yeon will transform into Song Hye Kyo’s nemesis Park Yeon Jin, who used to be a school bully and Moon Dong Eun’s main tormentor. 

Lim Ji Yeon recently made a deep impression with K-drama fans via part 2 of the Netflix series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area”, where she assumed the role of Seoul. She previously starred in “High Society”, “The Royal Gambler”, “The Treacherous”, and is well known for her alluring and erotic appearance.

Park Sung Hoon as Jeon Jae Joon

Park Yeon Jin is not Moon Dong Eun’s only rival in “The Glory”, but also Jeon Jae Joon, who is played by Park Sung Hoon.

Actor Park Sung Hoon debuted in 2006 by playing a supporting role in “Ssunday Seoul. So far, he has had 20 roles in both movies and TV series. However, he has not played many leading roles.

Among the film projects he has participated in, Park Sung Hoon takes on the main character in a single work – Gonjiam: Haunted Hospital. As for the TV series, his first lead role came in 2018. It was in the 106-episode series My Only One.

Jung Sung Il as Ha Do Young

Jung Sung Il plays Ha Do Young, Park Yeon Jin’s husband. Jung Sung Il is 1 year older than Song Hye Kyo and like his co-star, he also started his acting career very early. He debuted in 2002.

However, starting a career early does not mean having success. Over the years, he has only had one lead role in the movie segment. As for dramas, The Glory is the first project he takes on as a mainline character.

Yeom Hye Ran as Kang Hyun Nam

The last name in the main cast is Yeom Hye Ran. In “The Glory”, she plays Kang Hyun Nam, a woman who is abused by her husband. Later, Kang Hyun Nam sought out Moon Dong Eun and cooperated with her.

Yeom Hye Ran is a veteran actress with 19 years of experience. Now 46 years old, the actress is also recognized for her recent appearances in K-dramas, with notable mentions being “Goblin”, “The K2”, “When The Camellia Blooms”, and “The Uncanny Counter”.
