The belatedly released video of Nam Goong-min’s sweet proposal to Jin Ah-reum is receiving explosive reactions

The video of Nam Goong-min’s proposal to his wife was recently released, drawing enthusiastic responses from netizens.

The proposal video, which was shown at the wedding of Nam Goong-min and Jin Ah-reum, was recently spread on Youtube and SNS sites, arousing keen interest from netizens. The released video shows Nam Goong-min and Jin Ah-reum sitting side by side at a restaurant, eating and drinking wine. 

During the meal, Nam Goong-min suddenly said, “What I want you to do… There is one thing I want you to do”. In response, Jin Ah-reum asked, “Oh, what?”. As Nam Goong-min asked back, “Will you listen to me if I tell you?”, Jin Ah-reum replied, “Yes”.

Nam Goong-min said, “Really?” then got up from his seat and knelt in front of Jin Ah-reum. Jin Ah-reum was very surprised by Nam Goong-min’s sudden action. Nam Goong-min then took out the ring he prepared and sincerely proposed to Jin Ah-reum, “Will you marry me?”. 

At the unexpected proposal, Jin Ah-eum touched Nam Goong-min’s cheek and eventually burst into tears.

Nam Goong-min’s proposal video, which was like a scene from a drama, touched netizens. Giving explosive cheers to the couple, Internet users commented, “Wow he’s so cool…”, “That’s how a proposal should be ? Korean men mostly do that only on their wedding day, what’s the point of doing that”, “What’s this!!!!!! It’s like a drama!!!!”, “They’re living a life like a drama…”, “This is love…ㅋㅋㅋI want to have a proposal like that, too”, etc.

Earlier on October 7th, Nam Goong-min and Jin Ah-reum tied the knot at Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Actor Jung Moon-sung was in charge of hosting the wedding ceremony and TVXQ sang “I Believe” as their congratulatory song for the couple.

Nam Goong-min and Jin Ah-reum got to know each other after Jin Ah-reum appeared in the short film “Light My Fire” directed by Nam Goong-min. The two, who developed into lovers while filming the movie together, ended up getting married after 7 years of dating.
