On January 5, Changjo took to social media to personally share the news with fans. He wrote, “Some of you may already know, while others might be surprised to hear this,” before openly stating, “Everyone, I am currently in a relationship.”

Changjo explained that whenever something meaningful changes in his life—whether it is joyful news or a more delicate matter—he has always wanted to be honest with fans. He shared that he did not want the news to come across lightly, choosing instead to speak only after his thoughts and emotions were fully settled so he could communicate calmly and sincerely.

Reflecting on his 16 years since debut, Changjo expressed deep gratitude toward his fans, calling them people who helped turn his shortcomings into positive growth through constant support and encouragement. He said that writing the message was his way of conveying his heartfelt appreciation to those who gave him strength to endure difficult times for more than a decade.

Changjo was careful to reassure fans that his announcement would not change his attitude toward his career or performing on stage. On the contrary, he explained that his personal and professional life has become more stable, allowing him to focus even more on music and the stage he loves most.
He also acknowledged that some fans might feel disappointed or confused by his decision. Changjo emphasized that for his sincerity to truly reach people, it would take continuous effort—an effort he is fully committed to making. He promised to cherish both words of support and concerned reactions alike, and to repay fans with great music and performances.
According to industry sources, Changjo’s partner is Kasper, a singer known for her appearance on Mnet’s Unpretty Rapstar 2, where she gained recognition for her musical talent and strong presence.
