Taylor Swift’s new boyfriend Matthew Healy turns out to be the singer who stepped on the Korean flag
Singer Taylor Swift is rumored to have a new boyfriend only three months after she broke up with actor Joe Alwyn.
Taylor Swift’s new boyfriend is Matthew Timothy Healy (34 years old), a vocalist of the famous British band “The 1975”.
According to several foreign media, including TMZ, on May 6th (local time), Taylor Swift was recently seen enjoying a date with Matthew Healy.
While performing at the Eras Tour at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on the 5th, Taylor Swift looked at the camera and sent a secret message, saying “This is about you. You know it. I love you”.
As the video capturing this moment spread on SNS, fans became convinced that the female singer sent the message to Matthew Healy. In fact, Healy also said the same thing during his concert in the Philippines on the same day.
In addition, footage of Healy watching Taylor Swift’s concert from the VIP room that day was also released.
The British daily newspaper The Sun said, “Taylor Swift and Healy have only been together for less than two months but they have already fallen in ‘crazy love’.”
Dating rumors of the two, who have maintained a strong friendship since 2014, broke out several times. However, Healy dismissed rumors.
Taylor Swift’s fans are actually not very supportive of the two’s relationship because of Healy’s past behaviors. Apart from his heroin addiction, the male vocalist was also expelled from school for fighting. In addition, he is better known for sex scandals and drugs rather than rock and roll music.
Healy sparked controversy in September 2019 when he visited Korea for a concert due to the selfie he took in the waiting room before the performance.
In the selfie, Healy was seen stepping on a Korean flag given by a fan. When fans criticized him for his inappropriate attitude, the male singer deleted the post without giving any explanation.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift dated British actor Joe Alwyn for over six years until they broke up in February earlier this year.
