“Tax-fraud scandal” Chinese top actress Fan Bingbing spotted filming in Korea in a casual outfit 

Fan Bingbing, who is reportedly making her debut in a K-drama, was recently seen on the streets of Korea. 

As reported by Chinese media outlets on March 6th, Fan Bingbing, who is set to appear in JTBC’s drama ‘Insider‘, was spotted in Korea. On Weibo, several photos of Fan Bingbing filming on the streets were spread.

In a photo, Fan Bingbing is walking down the street in a simple outfit with her trademark long straight hair tied up, dark gray pants, beige walkers, a denim shirt and a black loose-fit leather jacket.

Another photo also shows Fan Bingbing standing with the staff to monitor the shot. There is still no information on Fan Bingbing’s role in ‘Insider‘. According to the production crew, the filming for Fan Bingbing’s appearance has already been completed. 

Meanwhile, in response to the news of a K-drama cameo appearance of Fan Bingbing, who has not been active in China due to tax evasion controversy that broke out in 2018, Chinese fans are welcoming her comeback with comments such as “Fighting Fan Bingbing”, “It’s been a long time since we last saw her act, “Actress Fan Bingbing, it’s been a while” .

Fan Bingbing, who maintained her position as a top Chinese actress for a long time, was found to have orchestrated a dual-billing system, known as “yin yang contracts,” to conceal her actual earnings in 2018. She was later fined nearly 150 billion won by Chinese authorities for tax fraud and other offenses.
