Reports came out in China that “Tang Wei and director Kim Tae-yong are separated”, but Tang Wei’s side denied it.
On Feb 10th, Chinese media outlet Sina Entertainment quoted Hong Kong media and reported, “Actress Tang Wei and director Kim Tae-yong are separated.”
Tang Wei‘s agency then immediately denied it, saying, “Tang Wei is in a very happy marriage. She participated in her husband’s work and is doing post synchronization.”
Director Kim Tae-yong and Tang Wei, who met through the movie “Late Autumn”, got married in Sweden in 2014. Afterwards, they welcomed their first daughter Summer in 2016.
Tang Wei will appear in Kim Tae-yong‘s new film “Wonderland“. Starring Tang Wei, Park Bo-gum, Suzy, Jung Yoo-mi and Choi Woo-sik, “Wonderland” is a work about a virtual world that allows people to see who they want to see. Its release date is undecided.
