On March 14 (local time), multiple Taiwanese media outlets, including Yiping News Network and Sanli News Network, reported that martial arts actor Chang Chen-Huan was found dead in his home.
According to local police, authorities discovered his body after receiving reports of a strange odor coming from a residence in Nangang District, Taipei. The cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed.

Debuting in 1976, Chang Chen-Huan gained fame in the Taiwanese film industry, specializing in action roles and period dramas in the Chinese martial arts genre. However, as he aged, his career declined, and he struggled to secure roles.
In recent years, he faced allegations of domestic violence, leading to a divorce. His financial troubles worsened after a failed business venture, and he reportedly suffered from bipolar disorder and alcohol addiction. His struggles frequently made headlines in Taiwanese media.
On March 28, a farewell ceremony was held for Chang Chen-Huan, attended by his son and ex-wife. However, his two brothers were notably absent, and the memorial proceeded in a quiet and subdued manner.
