On the August 3rd broadcast of tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday,’ comedian Ahn Young-mi and actress Ji Ye-eun appeared as guests.
In a pre-show interview with the production team, Ahn Young-mi declared, “I will scold Key.” She explained, “I’ve been pushing the chest dance for over 10 years. Then, one day, I saw Taeyeon doing the chest dance on ‘Amazing Saturday.’ I was so happy. It was an honor to see a K-pop star introducing the chest dance to the world. But then Key suddenly stopped the dance. It didn’t make any sense. What was he doing?”
In response, Key said, “I also do that dance, but I thought Taengoo (Taeyeon) was still a bit cautious. As her junior, I wanted to protect her. I’m open-minded though. 10 years ago, Ahn Young-mi and I did the chest dance together at someone else’s wedding,” he confessed. Ahn Young-mi added, “The whole world should know about the chest dance! I wish 50 million people would do the chest dance in unison, like in an Indian movie.”
During a quiz on the show, the song “Shutter” by Celeb Five played, and Taeyeon and Ahn Young-mi came out to the stage together. Taeyeon confidently performed the chest dance with Ahn Young-mi, but Ahn Young-mi took it further by showing an upgraded version of the dance. She rotated her chest and even added squeezing actions, which shocked everyone with its intensity. The cast exclaimed, “This can’t be aired,” and “Kids are watching. Please stop, ma’am,” as they intervened and humorously led her away.
