Taeyeon Got Shy When Being Introduced At aespa’s Concert
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon appeared at the concert of the girl group aespa to cheer for her junior under SM Entertainment
On the evening of June 30th, aespa held the second day of their Seoul show of the second world tour “2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE” at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
On the concert day, aespa spent time expressing their feelings after performing solo stages, which showcased the four members’ individualities and charms. Completing her first stage, Giselle mentioned her solo song titled “Dopamine” and said, “Did you guys get a dopamine boost?”. Karina added, “I don’t know when our next concert will be, but we will prepare even more exciting stages. So you guys will come to see us again, right?”, raising fans’ anticipation.
NingNing shared, “Last time, our concept was a bit powerful and cool, but this time, it’s kinda chill and closer to what I want to show you guys”. Winter added, “We’ll show you a lot of new sides of us, so please look forward to our transformations”.
At that time, Karina suddenly shouted, “Taeyeon unnie”, announcing that a surprise guest visited the concert venue. Surprised when the camera showed her on the big screen, Taeyeon covered her face with the lightstick and smiled shyly.
As the audience in the venue turned their attention to Taeyeon, aespa members commented, “Your reactions for her are even more explosive than that for our stages earlier”, “Please respect our introverted sister”, etc., drawing laughter. Later, Taeyeon responded to aespa’s greeting by waving her hands and smiling brightly amid enthusiastic cheers from fans.
In addition to Taeyeon, Hyeri, John Park, and Chungha also attended aespa’s concert.
Starting with two shows in Seoul, aespa will continue their tour in a total of 14 regions in Asian and Australia, including Fukuoka, Nagoya, Saitama, Singapore and Osaka in July, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, Jakarta, and Sydney in August, Melbourne, Macau and Bangkok in September.
