“What the YouTuber who is making rumors while my body has not yet recovered said is not true,” she said. “Many celebrities seem to be hurt by the YouTuber and haters and only hide their feelings of injustice inside. We will take legal actions by responding to the complaint for the sake of our wronged fellow celebrities, seniors and juniors,” he added.

“We will make sure to file complaints against those who post malicious comments on YouTube and portal sites without warning or leniency,” she added. “Delete them now. Or post malicious comments and pay a fine later, regret it, and not able to say anything else. If you have that much money to pay, do as you please.”

Areum also said on social media on March 29th, “There are too many people smiling in the front and holding knives in the back,” and “The most absurd thing happening to me now in the world is to be called a fraud without knowing anything.”

Earlier, reporter-turned-YouTuber Lee Jin-ho claimed that Areum borrowed money from her follower via her boyfriend before the suicide attempt, and that she blamed on her account being hacked when the truth was revealed. Then, Areum directly commented on the video and refuted the allegations.
