Suzy Reveals Feelings About Forming Girl Group With Go Ah-sung In ‘Doona!’, “First Practice Was A Mess”

Singer-actress Suzy talked about the group Dream Sweet in Netflix’s drama “Doona!”

On October 24th, a video titled “Styling secrets: Suzy breaks down Doona’s fashion” was uploaded on Netflix’s YouTube channel.

In “Doona!”, Suzy formed a group called “Dream Sweet” with actress Go Ah-sung, dancers Simeez, Rian and singer Janet Suhh and performed on a real idol stage.

When asked “What did Doona wear in the group?”, Suzy said, “She’s the only one wearing white. She was the most popular member of the group. So the agency also tried to promote her further and would put her in unique colors to make her stand out”.

Regarding the performance of Dream Sweet she filmed for the drama, the actress shared, “I enjoyed practicing for it. It’s been a while since I danced and practiced as a group. It was the first time Ah-sung had ever done that. Siamese and Rian from La Chica were used to it, so they helped us.”

Revealing that their first practice was a mess, Suzy said, “It made us question ‘Are we going to be okay?’. We didn’t have much time to practice so we had to make changes to the choreography to make it easier. We started to build some teamwork as we kept practicing”.

Meanwhile, Netflix series “Doona!” was released on October 20th. It depicts the romance of college student Won-joon (Yang Se-jong) and retired idol singer Doona (Suzy) as they meet at a shared house.
