Actors’ unexpected pasts were revealed, drawing surprise

Singer Han Hae appeared as a guest in the latest episode of SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show,” which aired on October 5.

The show talked about celebrities who used to be idols.

While names such as Kang Nam, Seo Hyun-jin, Hwang Jung-eum, and Im Si-wan were mentioned.

When asked if he was also an idol, Hwang Chi-yeol said, “There was no idol-debut proposal, and I was going to enter a ballad choir, but was eliminated and became a solo artist,” adding, “They didn’t let me be an idol.”

Kim Tae-kyun brought up Won Bin, saying, “There are some actors who almost became an idol. Won Bin auditioned for H.O.T.”

Another amazing actress was mentioned. It’s Soo Ae. Han-hae said, “What’s more unimaginable is that Soo Ae prepared for a girl group debut and she was in charge of rapping,” adding, “(You never know) the game may have changed.”
