Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae established their own label “ODE.ent”

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae, who left SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM), established their own label “ODE.ent”.

According to the music industry, Eunhyuk and Donghae’s exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment expired as of August 31st. They are expected to take office as co-CEOs of ODE.ent and start independent activities on September 1st.

A music industry insider who knows the two well said, “Eunhyuk and Donghae, who are close friends, established a company together. They plan to continue individual activities and duo D&E’s activities at ODE.ent. They’re also considering recruiting new artists and fostering younger generations once the company is on the right track.

Besides, they plan to actively participate in Super Junior’s activities. The insider added, “Although their exclusive contracts with SM ended, both are affectionate towards Super Junior’s activities. They’ll always participate in Super Junior’s group activities together.”

Point of Omniscient Interfere

Manager Won Yong Sun, who supported the two’s Super Junior activities, will also join ODE.ent. Manager Won Yong Sun attracted attention by revealing how he lived with Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun at the dorm in Cheongdam-dong through MBC’s “Point of Omniscient Interfere”, which aired in 2020.

It is said that manager Won Yong Sun submitted his resignation letter to Jungdeun Company, which he had been with for 13 years, due to active love calls from Eunhyuk and Donghae, whom he has managed for a long time.

Eunhyuk and Donghae (born in 1986) debuted as members of Super Junior in 2005. Super Junior led the second-generation Korean Wave by releasing songs such as “Sorry Sorry” and “Mr. Simple”.
