Sunny, “Girls’ Generation members used to compete for the 1st and 2nd place in alcohol tolerance”
Girls’ Generation member Sunny talked about her alcohol limit.
Girls’ Generation members Tiffany and Sunny, who recently released a new song and made their group comeback, appeared as guests on KBS CoolFM’s “Lee Ki-kwang’s Music Plaza”, which aired on August 16th.
On the broadcast, Sunny mentioned her drinking limit, saying “Our members used to compete for the 1st and 2nd place in alcohol tolerance. But we’ve all begun to just enjoy drinking and now my alcohol tolerance is at 6th place”.
Tiffany said, “I don’t think Sunny is in 6th place”, adding “There is also a basic base in drinking alcohol, and I think Sunny’s tolerance is still the same as before. Even when other members started to just enjoy drinking, that’s still something they’re born with. Sunny has a strong mental strength so I don’t think she would fall below 6th place”, drawing laughter.
In response, Sunny complained, “I said that because I wanted to change my image to a more mature one. Rather than being a drunkard, I was going to make myself look like someone who enjoys the atmosphere while drinking. But she ruined it.”
On the other hand, Tiffany talked about how the drinking tolerance of Girls’ Generation members had changed. She said, “Perhaps the members are now living and thinking more freely, we’ve gained more knowledge about different kinds of alcohol and now everyone enjoys drinking more differently than before.”
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation has just returned as a whole group with the release of their 7th full album “FOREVER 1” on August 5th. The pop dance song “Forever 1” expresses eternal love for precious people who always support them whenever and wherever they are.
