‘Strong Girl Nam-soon’ Rises In Ratings With Park Bo-young And Park Hyung-sik’s Cameo Appearance

“Strong Girl Nam-soon” continues to witness a significant increase in ratings

According to Nielsen Korea on October 15th, the new episode of JTBC’s Sat-Sun drama “Strong Girl Nam-soon” airing the previous day recorded a nationwide rating of 8.0%, reaching another highest rating peak.

It’s an increase of 2.9% compared to the rating of the second episode released on the 8th. Especially, it surprisingly doubled the rating of episode 1, which was 4.3%.

“Strong Girl Nam-soon” depicts the story of mothers and daughters of three generations digging into drug crimes in Gangnam, Seoul. Returning with a new season six years after the broadcast of “Strong Girl Bong-soon”, the “Strong Girl” series once again received keen attention.

In fact, “Strong Girl Bong-soon” lead actors Park Hyung-sik and Park Bo-young also made a special appearance in “Strong Girl Nam-soon”. The two made a comeback as couple Do Bong-soon and Ahn Min-hyuk and added more fun to the new story with their overwhelming chemistry and heart-fluttering acting as lovers.

Gang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) and Hwang Geum-joo (Kim Jung-eun) finally had their dramatic reunion as mother and daughter, raising viewers’ curiosity about the developments in the next episodes. Attention is focused on the fun that Gang Nam-soon and Hwang Geum-joo will bring after recognizing each other.

Meanwhile, episode 4 of “Strong Girl Nam-soon” will air at 10:30 p.m. on October 15th.
