Stray Kids, NewJeans, and More Among Distinguished Winners at the 2023 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards

These awards showcase the remarkable contributions and talents that continue to enrich and promote Korean culture

Every year, the Korean government organizes the Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards to pay tribute to those who have made remarkable contributions to the proliferation of Korean culture.

The awards feature four distinct categories: The Geumgwan Order of Cultural Merit (1st Class), the Eungwan Order of Cultural Merit (2nd Class), the Bogwan Order of Cultural Merit (3rd Class), as well as the Presidential Commendation, Prime Minister’s Commendation, and Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Commendation.
