On March 18, local media reported that Changbin purchased a unit in the Apgujeong Hyundai Apartments complex in Gangnam District for ₩9.4 billion.
According to official property records, Changbin acquired a 198㎡ unit under his sole name in February of last year. Notably, there is no registered mortgage on the property, suggesting that the idol paid the full amount in cash.
A unit of the same size in the complex previously set a record by selling for ₩12.7 billion last year. This means Changbin secured the property at a significantly lower price about ₩3.3 billion less than the peak transaction. Reports also indicate that the purchase price is more than ₩1 billion below the current lowest asking price.
Apgujeong Hyundai Apartments is known as a hotspot for celebrities, with several high-profile figures residing there. Among them are top entertainer Yoo Jae-suk and Max Changmin of TVXQ, making Changbin their new neighbor in this elite residential area.
