Story About Min Hee-jin’s Kindness Towards Fans Revealed, “She Paid For The Meal”
Min Hee-jin, the executive producer of the popular girl group NewJeans, reportedly paid for the meal of a fan she met overseas
On July 4th, the webtoon Instagram account “Kim Bae-sae” introduced a short webtoon based on the story about netizen A meeting CEO Min Hee-jin.
In May, A, who was working at a Korean guesthouse in Spain, met Min Hee-jin at a restaurant during the female CEO’s trip to Barcelona for the filming of NewJeans’s music video. A approached Min Hee-jin and greeted, “I’m a fan of yours”. CEO Min replied, “Thank you”.
When A confessed that they were majoring in vocal in the Department of Practical Music at a school, CEO Min asked for A’s name and said, “I’m rooting for you”, then asked A to send a DM to her on SNS after mentioning their encounter as fate.
Returning to their seat, A was later surprised to find out that CEO Min already paid for their meal, which was more than 200,000 won. However, CEO Min already left the restaurant when A discovered it.
Later, A sent a thank-you message to CEO Min, saying “I will definitely repay you”. CEO Min replied, “Why do you need to repay me? Thank you for supporting me”.
There have been many stories about Min Hee-jin’s kindness towards fans she met on the street. While staying in Japan for NewJeans’s fanmeeting “Bunnies Camp Tokyo Dome 2024” held on the 26th and 27th of June, CEO Min also took photos with fans at their request. There is also a story about CEO Min paying for fans who came to eat at a bulgogi restaurant after watching NewJeans fanmeeting in Japan.
Earlier at her press conference on May 31st, CEO Min said, “I’m so grateful to people who have been supporting me that I really want to greet each and every one of them”.
