Stars with dazzling visuals are gaining attention for their humble remarks about their appearance

Jisoo from BLACKPINK was also one of the stars who showed her humbleness despite having unrivaled visuals. In a recent interview with GQ Korea after her movie debut in “Dr. Cheon and Lost Talisman” (2023), Jisoo was asked to pick a compliment she will hear for the rest of her life between ‘You’re really pretty’ and ‘You’re really funny’. When she heard the question, the singer picked ‘You’re really pretty.’

She explained, “I am often complimented on being ‘funny’ than I thought.” She added, “I didn’t mean to be funny, but I think I can hear it more because of my humor. It’s hard to listen to everyone’s compliments on being ‘pretty’ for the rest of my life though.”

Lee Young-ae, who will return to the small screen after 2 years with tvN’s “Maestra: Strings of Truth” on December 9th, recently appeared on a YouTube show and revealed that she had concerns about her appearance during the “Dae Jang Geum” time.

She said, “At that time, I was thirty-three. I was worried a lot about my appearance back then. Because there were so many crying scenes, my face was swollen a lot.”

She added, “It was a very busy time when I couldn’t even take care of my skin. I almost gave up on my appearance and focused only on acting. Looking at it now, I was beautiful back then. At that time, I didn’t even do monitoring, but now, at my age, I think I was so beautiful. Why did I worry about my appearance back then?

Ji Chang-wook, who played the lead role in Disney+’s “The Worst of Evil”, made self-deprecating comments about his face through a web entertainment show.

What is he talking about?

Han Ga-in
