Taiwanese influencer Sprite Fang shared that she attempted to travel to Singapore in October 2025 to attend the Formula 1 races. However, before she was even able to collect her passport at immigration, she was suddenly pulled aside by officers and taken to a separate area for questioning. Her luggage was searched, and she was interrogated in a small room at Changi Airport.

According to Sprite, immigration officers also searched her phone and discovered images linked to her OnlyFans account. Despite her repeated requests for them to stop viewing the nearly nude and suggestive content, she claimed the officers continued examining the images. She was reportedly detained overnight before being informed that she would not be allowed to enter the country.

Ultimately, Sprite Fang was deported and forced to return to Taiwan. She later shared that the experience left her deeply shaken, triggering panic symptoms and sleep issues that required psychiatric treatment. She described the incident as traumatic and said it had a lasting emotional impact on her well-being.

Sprite also mentioned that she had originally planned to undergo a medical procedure in Singapore. Although the trip ended abruptly, she stated that her self-esteem improved somewhat after eventually completing the procedure elsewhere, despite the distress caused by the deportation.

Under Singaporean law, importing, producing, or distributing obscene material, including pornographic content, is a criminal offense. However, Sprite Fang noted that she was never explicitly informed whether the content found on her phone was the official reason for her deportation. Her account has since sparked widespread debate online, with many questioning digital privacy at borders and the treatment of influencers whose work involves adult-oriented platforms.
