On June 20, Hyoyeon’s official YouTube channel, Hyo’s Level Up, uploaded a video titled, “Didn’t Hyorisoo Join YG? Why Are We Secretly Getting Our Debut Song Here? / Fake Kim Hyoyeon | Hyorisoo Debut Project Episode 3 (Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung).”
In the video, Hyoyeon said, “Hyorisoo has been promoting without even having a debut song. After a long journey, we finally have our first official track. Girls, we’re really debuting now.”
She then added, “Shouldn’t we take care of ourselves before debuting?” and shared chicken breast burritos with Yuri and Sooyoung. When the two jokingly questioned whether she was giving them leftovers, Hyoyeon clarified, “They’re not leftovers. I set them aside for you in advance.”
While enjoying the burrito, Sooyoung spoke in an adorable tone and joked, “Poor Sooyoung. I eat boiled eggs every day. So pitiful. Boiled eggs and scorched rice all the time. I’m so miserable.”
Hyoyeon and Yuri showed little reaction to her dramatic complaint, drawing laughter from viewers.

Sooyoung continued, “I’ve been practicing so hard. I wish I had burritos in my freezer too. I’m exhausted from rehearsing for The Merchant of Venice these days. I’m playing Portia in The Merchant of Venice. She’s basically a princess, a noblewoman, so I can’t just eat anything because I’m worried about gaining weight in my face. It would be nice to have burritos around.”
Meanwhile, on June 9, Sooyoung officially announced her breakup with actor Jung Kyung Ho. The announcement marked the end of a relationship that had lasted approximately 14 years since the couple began dating in 2012.
A representative from Sooyoung’s agency, Saram Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating, “It is true that Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho have parted ways. They have decided to remain good colleagues.”
Since the breakup, Sooyoung has been focusing on her professional activities. Alongside her fellow Hyorisoo members, she appeared on MBC’s variety show Hangout with Yoo, which aired on June 20. She is also preparing for her role in the stage production of The Merchant of Venice, which will open at the National Theater on July 8.
