Song Kang Reacted To Unexpected Fandom Name Candidate “Song Kang-ho”

Song Kang talked about an anecdote that occurred because his name was similar to Song Kang-ho

On November 28th, the 17th episode of the online show “Salon Drip 2” was released on the YouTube channel “TEO”, featuring Song Kang and Lee Jin-wook, the main actors of Netflix’s “Sweet Home 2,” as guests.

In the video, MC Jang Do-yeon said, “Since Song Kang came, we cannot help but ask about this anecdote,” adding, “Song Kang-ho was wrongly listed in the cast of Netflix’s ‘Love Alarm Season 2’ starring Song Kang.”

In response, Song Kang said, “I was at the gym at that time. “Oh, this came out,” I thought. I searched and there was a senior (Song Kang-ho) not me (in the cast).”

When Jang Do-yeon said, “There’s also a story that your fan club’s name almost became Song Kang-ho,” Song Kang replied, “I’ve never heard of it.”

Song Kang drew attention by saying that his current fan club name is “Songpyeon,” which means “Song Kang-pyeon” (on Song Kang’s side) and that “Song Kang-geun” was a candidate for the fan club name.

He explained, “Song Kang-geun was the name given by my grandfather when I was born,” and said that it was a witty suggestion from fans who knew it.
