The past appearance of actor Song Joong Ki when he was 20 years old was revealed.
In episode 117 of KBS 2TV’s entertainment program “Entertainment company Plus”, which aired on January 26th, actor Song Joong Ki ranked 2nd in the list of stars who were discovered by KBS.
Song Joong Ki appeared on “Quiz Korea” as a freshman in the Social Science Department of Sungkyunkwan University in 2006 and even advanced to the final round. Later, Song Joong Ki revealed a behind-the-scenes story, saying “Someone else was supposed to come out on the show, but they suddenly withdrew from the team, so I was chosen to replace them. I stayed up 4-5 nights to prepare for it hurriedly.”
At that time, when announcer Shin Young Il said Song Joong Ki looked like someone, the actor got embarrassed. He said, “It’s awkward to say it myself…”, then mentioned singer Kim Jeong Hoon of UN.
Song Joong Ki also revealed that he wanted to become an announcer and was honored to stand in the position of Shin Young Il. It is known that Song Joong Ki had a fancafe the day after the broadcast thanks to his handsome appearance.
Song Joong Ki used to dream of becoming an announcer rather than an actor. However, 2 years later, he debuted in KBS’s “My Precious You” and walked on the path of an actor.
