On September 18, Park Yeon-su shared an old photoshoot of her daughter, Song Ji-ah, from three years ago on social media. In the photos, Ji-ah models various outfits with youthful charm, exuding what many netizens describe as “celebrity-level beauty.”

Alongside the post, Park Yeon-su wrote: “While she changed into dozens of outfits, I was so excited, but Ji-ah said, ‘Golf is 100 times easier and more fun.’ That’s the day I realized my daughter truly loves golf.”

She continued with heartfelt honesty: “When her scores didn’t improve and agencies kept calling, I wondered why she chose such a difficult path instead of the easier one. It took six years for her lively personality to calm down… but one thing I acknowledge is her love for golf.”

Song Ji-ah first gained public attention in 2019, when she revealed on a TV program that she had once received an offer from JYP Entertainment. At the time, she explained: “I wanted to join the agency, but I thought I wouldn’t be able to commit to training. So I chose golf instead.”

Her decision has since proven worthwhile. Just last month, Ji-ah officially earned her KLPGA (Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association) full membership, a milestone that requires passing a selection exam, completing training, and undergoing strict evaluations.

Ji-ah is the daughter of former professional footballer Song Jong-guk and actress Park Yeon-su. The couple married in 2006 but divorced in 2015. Since then, Park Yeon-su has been raising Ji-ah and her younger brother Song Ji-wook on her own.

As Ji-ah continues to pursue her passion, her journey stands out not just for her golf achievements but also for her remarkable celebrity-like presence, leaving many to wonder if she may one day balance both sports and entertainment.
