On the SBS variety show ‘Running Man’ that aired on the 22nd, a ‘Perfect Code’ race unfolded where QR codes accompanied every moment for prize money.
In the first mission of the day, Song Ji-hyo, Kim Jong-kook, Yoo Jae-suk, and Haha formed one team, while Kwon Eun-bi, Yang Se-chan, Ji Suk-jin, and Jonathan formed another team for a costume contest. Song Ji-hyo’s team had the mission to dress up as Hatchuping and Sandping, while Kwon Eun-bi‘s team had to transform into Cabbage Hermit and Martial Arts Hermit. They set off to find items for their costumes.
The PD warned, “The money will be deducted from each team’s seed money, so you need to consider the cost when buying costumes,” and Song Ji-hyo volunteered to dress up as Hatchuping, saying, “I just need to add one point to the costume.” Haha, who has a daughter named Song-i who loves Hatchuping, showed a video of Song-i imitating Hatchuping, explaining the concept of the transformation, and said cutely, “She does this every night.”
While pondering the costumes for Sandping and Hatchuping, Yoo Jae-suk criticized the color of the Sandping costume, and Song Ji-hyo, already mentally transformed into Hatchuping, said, “Why are you doing this, Chu? I don’t want to be on the same team, Chu,” causing laughter. Afterward, Song Ji-hyo began her transformation into Hatchuping in earnest. She tied her hair into pigtails and cut out eyebrows from paper, hinting at a rather shocking visual for Hatchuping.
Meanwhile, Ji Suk-jin began his transformation into the Cabbage Hermit. He was briefly proud of his own idea, but then all his bangs got stuck to the blue tape, leaving him unable to do anything. He then said in a moment of realization, “Why am I doing this? I wonder.” The final transformation results were revealed.
Ji Suk-jin and Jonathan completed the Cabbage Hermit and Martial Arts Hermit with starch toothpicks and brooms, while Song Ji-hyo and Kim Jong-kook completed the shockingly visually-destructive Hatchuping and Sandping. The members laughed, saying, “The visuals are a bit bizarre,” and “She even gave up her sight for the costume,” but in the end, Song Ji-hyo’s team won.
