Actress Song Ji Hyo opened up about her unique approach to dating and communication, sharing a candid anecdote during a recent appearance on Ji Suk Jin’s YouTube channel. In a casual conversation, Ji Suk Jin asked Song Ji Hyo, “Have you ever had a long phone call with someone close?” Without hesitation, she replied, “Not really. I prefer listening.”
When pressed further about her most recent long call, she responded, “It was with Yoo Jae Suk. We talked for about a minute. I don’t talk on the phone much. I don’t know what to say. If someone talks, I feel like I should ask questions, but I’m not really curious.”
Asked whether she’d have long phone calls with a boyfriend, Song Ji Hyo admitted, “Even if I don’t hear from someone for 2 or 3 days, I don’t think much of it. I’m the type who’s a bit dull emotionally. I don’t get suspicious.”
Ji Suk Jin reacted in mock horror, saying, “That’s not good. A bit of restriction is necessary.” Ok Ji Young agreed, commenting, “I think a certain level of possessiveness or control is needed. Otherwise, the other person might think you don’t care.”
Song Ji Hyo acknowledged this perspective, saying, “I’ve often heard that I make my partner feel lonely. But since I don’t like being interfered with, I tend to not interfere in their life either.”
